A Billion Bootstraps.  If you've not read the book, you should.  If you're wondering how one might actually end poverty, read the book.  Truly amazing.  It basically addresses micro-loan programs at the grass roots level.  And a pilot program began in Haiti, by Beacon Light Ministries. However, like so many other works, the idea is phenomenal, but it takes passionate administrators and volunteers to help it grow and succeed.  Two groups of micro-loan participants were established, one in Port au Prince, the other in Cap Haitian.  And things got started with an incredible energy, but those we had planned to oversee and coach the work took different paths.  We are hoping God will eventually show us whom He has chosen to lead and that the program will refocus and continue to grow.   Perhaps you are the one.
